In the past 15 years, the music industry has seen a major shift in how music is recorded and distributed. As a musician, you had two choices; low cost/low quality or high cost/high quality recordings. Upon investing in a recording, there was no guarantee of getting your music heard. The major labels (and money) controlled (and still controls) what is played on the airwaves. Often recordings were 'demos' that you would send to a major label in the hopes of getting played on the airwaves AND someone else paying for more studio time. If you were one of the very, very few to pick up a contract, you got the chance to really work in a studio and if you were one of the very few of the very few, you actually showed a profit. (watch VH1: Behind the Music, for examples galore) If you were a Christian band, you didn't have a chance to be part of the above equation. WELCOME TO THE END OF AN ERA!!

GroovySoul's mission is to be at the forefront of this musical revolution. By providing Low Cost/High Quality recordings, we empower musicians to have full control of the content of their music and how it is distributed.

    • In addition to empowering musicians to create their own 'commercial' music, GroovySoul seeks to give Christian Music the chance to be heard. Most churches have some form of a music program and on the most basic level, most congregants have a desire to have recordings of their church music to enjoy at home or share with others.   • The ability to record where YOU ARE COMFORTABLE. This can be a worship space, a community center, a residence or even in the great outdoors. The only requirement is a single 110V/15 amp circuit.
